For International Women’s Day 2026, we celebrated the incredible women who were the talent for our Salty photoshoot. The theme for IWD 2026 was Give to Gain - a simple idea with big impact: when we give, we gain. It was a day to celebrate generosity, collaboration, and lifting each other up. By giving, we create opportunities and support for women to thrive - and together, we make a real difference. So here’s what we did: when someone purchased a box of No Ugly, we gifted them another box, and encouraged customers to give that to a woman who deserved a little love. Because good things are always better when shared. Get one. Give one. A small act of generosity, and a meaningful way to shine a light on the women in your life.
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
Grace is 25 and works as a solicitor.
When she’s not at work, you’ll find her playing netball, practising yoga, reading, sewing, heading out for dinner with the girls, and backing Toitū te Tiriti
She couldn’t live without her glasses (lol). She's especially proud of being admitted to the bar and nailing the flying splits asana in yoga. One word to describe her? Enthusiastic.
And if she could gift a case of No Ugly to any woman, it would be Alysa Liu – what a diva.
Anna Bramley, 43, manages the field team at The Beauty Collective while juggling full-time work, 12 hours of training a week, and raising two kids.
A former National Equestrian and athletics competitor and carded athlete through High Performance Sport NZ, she’s now a Hyrox AG World Champion.
No Ugly, family, training, music, and bananas keep her going, and she’s described as empathetic, driven, and her husband says oblivious and messy.
She’d happily give a box of No Ugly to her mama; she is an athlete herself.
AJ, 23, is the No Ugly Brand Manager and a Group Fitness Instructor.
She’s a gym junkie, and loves boating, going to festivals, and spending quality time with friends and family.
She can’t live without her lip balm, No Ugly Gut and Sleep, and a well-deserved prosecco on the weekends.
AJ is proud of graduating uni and all her Hyrox races. People would describe her as confident and short.
She would gift a case of No Ugly to her best friend Ollie (for putting up with her)!
Erica has passed the “three score years and ten” mark, though she still wakes some days full of joy, knowing she has more to give.
These days she spends time in the garden, singing, dancing, reading, and cherishing her mokopuna. She’s re-learning piano and keyboard. Once a school principal, Judicial JP, farmer, sports administrator, and marae trustee, she’s had a full-on life.
One son calls her competitive, another says she’s sensitive, and her mokopuna know her as “the Nana” - the enforcer who’s a little bit crazy. Her greatest achievement is raising and grandparenting a whole tribe of kind, hardworking people.
She’d gift a case of No Ugly to her wonderful Parkinson’s support person.
Waiata, 25, is a proud wahine Māori working in the ever-changing world of social media, where no two days look the same.
Deeply connected to her culture and wellbeing (and a massive film buff at heart), she couldn’t live without her family’s constant strength and support. She’s especially proud of landing her first acting roles after years of waiting and is now pursuing it as a long-term passion.
She’d gift a case of No Ugly to Olivia Flavell, whose belief and guidance have supported her journey from day one.
Frankie, 12, is an actress and student who loves basketball, netball, and spending time with family and friends.
She can’t live without her family, and she’s proud of achievements like getting the Netball Cup in Year 6 and making it in to the Wellington school trip.
Described as sassy, Frankie would gift a case of No Ugly to the person she got her attitude from - her Mum!
Scarlett, 17, is a student by day and a doom scroller by night, and is actively involved in her school’s feminist club.
She loves experimental makeup, eating delicious food, dancing like no one’s watching, and playing sudoku.
Scarlett can’t live without 3-ply toilet paper, blue mascara, her iPad, and chocolate. She’s proud of her amazing group of friends, her elite thrifting skills, and being part of an awesome family. She’s bold by nature.
She’d gift a case of No Ugly to her mama.
